What we do with the information you give us, in plain words.

1. What we collect

When you apply: your name, email, country, city, the level you chose, your interests, an optional link and what you tell us about yourself. We also keep your site language. If you become a member: your level, seat and renewal dates. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card number. This site sets a cookie that remembers your language, a cookie that remembers for 30 days where your first visit came from (for example Instagram or a link we shared), so we know which channels bring applications, and, when you sign in, a session cookie. With your application we keep that channel and, if you tell us, how you heard about Maison.

2. The members’ directory

Residents and Citizens can choose to join the private directory. Only then do we show the name, city, line about your work, short note, link and travel dates you enter, and only to other Residents and Citizens who are in the directory themselves. Your email and phone are never shown. When you ask for an introduction, we share your request and your note with the other member. Leaving the directory deletes your profile and your travels at once; while your membership is not active, your profile is not shown.

3. Why

Only to review your application, reply to you and, if you are accepted, run your membership. We never sell your data and never use your application to market investments to you.

4. Who handles it

The Maison team at Safa Global. Applications travel by email through our email provider (Resend) and are kept in our member database and the group’s internal systems. Payments go through Stripe.

5. How long

For as long as your membership lasts. If you are not accepted, or you ask us to, we delete your application.

6. Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to its use, at any time: hello@safa.mx. These rights include your ARCO rights under Mexican law and your rights under the EU GDPR.
