Maison Safa
Membership terms
The plain-language summary of what Maison Safa membership is, what it is not, and how the levels, seats and Assembly work. The full agreement for a paid level comes with your acceptance.
1. Who we are
Maison Safa memberships are sold and provided by Juan Carlos Pereyda Villa, Valle de la Luna 2, Zibatá, El Marqués, Querétaro 76269, Mexico. Registration and tax number: RFC PEVJ850228R19 (Mexico). Email: hello@safa.mx.
2. Membership is not an investment
Maison Safa membership, free or paid, is a consumer membership of a private, members-only house. It does not represent ownership in any Safa Global entity, gives no shares, tokens, dividends, profits, distributions, royalties or allocations, and carries no expectation of financial return. A Citizen’s lifetime seat is a membership right, not property in Maison or in any Safa Global company.
Membership gives no access, priority, preferred allocation or discount on STAC, the Safa Global Sukuk Programme or any other offering. Those are regulated investments offered separately by Safa Global Capital, only where lawful and only to eligible investors. Maison’s learning is education, never investment advice.
3. Levels and prices
Member is free. Resident is €1,000 a year. Citizen is €5,000 once, which includes the first year; house dues of €500 a year begin on the first anniversary and stay at that amount for life. Prices are in euros; your card issuer may show a local-currency amount. Payments are processed by Stripe.
What each level includes: Members receive bonus credits and 15% off everything at Excellence University. Residents receive 500 Maison Credits each membership year and Excellence University included while they are Residents. Citizens receive 500 Maison Credits each membership year for life, Excellence University included for life, and guest passes. Excellence University inclusion covers every course and program except bespoke programs, which are 50% off for Residents and Citizens; these discounts are Excellence University’s own member pricing.
The Resident fee and the house dues renew automatically each year. You can cancel at any time from your account; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the year already paid. A Resident who becomes a Citizen pays the Citizen fee, the Resident renewal stops, and house dues begin only when the Resident year already paid ends.
4. The 1,000 seats
Residents and Citizens together never exceed 1,000. Members are unlimited. As Citizenships are taken, fewer seats remain for Residents. A Resident is never displaced during a paid year, and a Resident who renews on time keeps their seat. When all seats are taken, new applicants join a waitlist.
A Citizen’s seat can be passed on once, to a member of the Citizen’s family, subject to the usual application review.
A Resident who does not renew releases the seat at the end of the year already paid. If a Citizen’s house dues go unpaid, the seat stays theirs for life; their benefits and their vote in the Assembly pause until the dues are paid.
5. The Maison Assembly
Residents and Citizens with an active membership vote in the Maison Assembly on the decisions that bind Maison: the house rules, new locations, perks and partners, the gathering city and the causes of the impact circle. A Resident holds one vote and a Citizen two, because a Citizen’s seat is for life. No vote is ever weighted by any investment a member may hold.
To Safa Global Capital, Safa Global Ventures and the Safa Global Foundation, the Assembly, with Citizens voting one each, gives advisory resolutions on values, ethics screens, impact priorities, themes to explore and founders to meet. Each answers every resolution publicly. Decisions of those companies remain with their boards, shareholders and the Foundation. The Assembly never votes on any investment, issuance, price or allocation. Citizens also elect a Members’ Council that advises the Safa Global Foundation once it is established.
6. Maison Credits and spaces
Maison spaces (to rest, to work or to relax) open in stages through the Safa Global real-estate network and partners. Until a space is announced as open, it cannot be booked. The spaces also serve Safa Global’s own work and close for private events; a calendar of closed days is shared each month, and every booking depends on availability and the house rules.
Maison Credits start on the first day of membership. Residents and Citizens receive 500 credits at the start of each membership year; any member may receive bonus credits, for example for a referral that is accepted, for hosting or for completing a course. 1 credit is worth €1 on the Maison price list published on this site, which is the only place credits are valued; the list is reviewed each season and a change never affects a request already confirmed. Credits are valid for the membership year in which they are received and do not roll over to the next. Bonus amounts are set by Maison and shown in the member account; the yearly amount changes only for future membership years, with notice. Credits can be used for nights and work days with partners and, once open, at Maison spaces, for pieces in Maison Boutique, for seats at events and for courses, always subject to availability. Yearly and bonus credits are a courtesy of membership: they have no cash value, are not refundable, cannot be sold or transferred for money, and end with the membership.
Residents and Citizens with an active membership may also buy credits, at €1 per credit, paid through Stripe. Credits bought are valid for 12 months from the day of purchase and are spent, like all credits, in order of what ends first. Unused credits bought are refunded to the card that paid for them on request within 14 days of the purchase, or when the membership ends; otherwise they cannot be exchanged for cash, sold or transferred. A member may save a card and turn on an automatic top-up: when the balance falls below the level the member sets, or when an order needs more credits, Maison charges the saved card for the amount the member set (or the shortfall, if larger) and adds the credits at once; Stripe sends a receipt for each charge, and the member can change or turn it off, or remove the card, at any time in the account.
Maison Boutique is open to members only and is always paid in credits, which are taken when the order is placed. Pieces are described, not photographed: colour, finish and details may vary and are part of the surprise, which does not affect the member’s rights if a piece arrives damaged or does not match its description. Maison arranges delivery or hands the piece over at a Maison event. If Maison cannot supply a piece, the order is cancelled and the credits are returned with their original validity.
7. Group and partner perks
Perks from Safa Global companies and partners roll out one by one and may change. Mobility, partner hotels, and a Maison wallet and card are planned for later stages; any payment product will be provided by a licensed partner under its own terms.
8. Invitations
Maison may offer complimentary membership at its sole discretion, to faculty, scholars, partners, community leaders and others. An invitation is never promised, never part of any offer of securities, never linked to the amount anyone invests, and never conditional on remaining an investor.
9. Application and acceptance
Membership is by application. We review every application and may accept or decline at our discretion. Payment for Resident or Citizen is requested only after acceptance, through a personal link. Seats are filled in the order payments are completed; if the last seat is taken while you pay, your payment is refunded in full.
10. Refunds
Resident fees and house dues are non-refundable. The Citizen fee is refundable pro rata only if Maison itself ends; it is not refundable for a change of mind. Consumer rights that the law of your country grants you always apply, including any right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days. If you withdraw, Maison Credits you have already used are deducted from the refund at their price-list value, and the credits of that membership year end.
11. Where membership is available
Maison is open worldwide where lawful. We cannot accept members from comprehensively sanctioned countries, and we may verify identity before accepting a paid level.
12. Safa Global Society members
The Safa Global Society is now Maison Safa. Existing memberships continue at the same price, and existing billing is unchanged until we write to you about your place in Maison. You can sign in to Maison with the email of your Society membership.
